a rpg game should be a game that you can play hours, weeks, months or even years with groving of one or more characters.

it's important that every player can personalize his character at the beginning and more on playing the game.

the game should have many differnt ways (professions) for groving of the character.

all wthe ways (professions) should have more or less the same groving speed.

the character should be able to trade, buy or sell artifacts, equipment, items or resources with other characters or vendors. even if it's the same player.

at the shops the player should be able to buy equipment and items.

any character should be able communicate with any other character and it should also be possible to send privat messages.

it should be possible to build clans and guilds for groving of strengh and to doing hard quests.

it should be possible to get rivalry and friendship betwen clans and guilds.

luck should be implemented in the game (very very small chance (5%) to ge 5 star rated things, a very small chance (10%) to get 4 star rated things,

a small chance (15%) to get 3 star rated things, a bit better chance (20%) to get 2 star rated things and

a high chance (50%) to get 1 star rated things in a chest or what ever and

a low chance (15%) to do duoble damage, a bit higher chance (25%)to do the half damage and a high chance (60%) to hit with normal damage).

you should made regions on the map. each region should be good for groving for characters around the same level.

you can made different playing types of good rpg games.

a game that you can play hours to 2 days that has every time random resources, maps, artifacts and items (my favorite type).

or you can made a game that you can play over weeks, monts or even years with many types of resources, items, equipment, artifacts and a big or huge map.

with groving of the character you should be able to view and travel more and more around the map and getting better items, equipment and artifacts.

if the best player or more than one player know allready the hole map you can add new parts to the map ord modify the map for high level players.

if the best player or more than one player has allready the bes items, equipment or artifacts you can add better items,

equipment or artifacts that are harder to get than before.

it would be a help for each player if there is a list with all items, equipment or artifacts to get in the game.

you sould allways work on this type of rpg (implemt new proffesions, items, equipment or artifacts increase or make change on the map) or

otherwise with the time the fun factor will die.

i think this are the main points for a very good rpg.
